Sometimes home improvements aren’t as straightforward as we’d like them to be – awkward spaces, tight corners or existing structural flaws can make upgrading your home a little difficult. The Eden family wasn’t getting great use out of their dated conservatory, and wanted to give it a more energy-efficient roof. But an existing multi-fuel stove made things a little more complicated.
They chose Anglian for the tricky task, opting for a solid replica tiled roof. It’s accompanied by new French doors and windows, plus panels in the roof that make the space brighter, more welcoming and ultimately friendlier. We never thought we’d say this, but seeing home improvement wins like this thermally-efficient conservatory makes us long for winter!
Here’s what Mr. Eden had to say about his new energy-efficient conservatory roof:
“We needed to replace a dilapidated conservatory, which had a plastic roof, and decided to go for a more substantial option whilst retaining our multi-fuel stove.
“It was important to have a more thermally-efficient room, so we opted for the Anglian solid roof system as it could also accommodate our stove.
“We now have an attractive, well-designed and constructed addition to our home. The work was completed on time and to a high standard, justifying our choice of Anglian as the installer. We are delighted with the result.”
