#ProjectSpotlight: Two seaside orangeries

We’ve talked before about orangeries and their ability to create the wow factor. The lantern roofs, the influx of streaming light, their elegant appearance from the outside and in – there’s something about them that just makes a home pop. So if you had the opportunity to add not one orangery but two, we can’t help but say, why not? When it comes to orangeries, the more the merrier!

Such was the case with the Barratts. When they had the opportunity to add two orangeries to their Isle of Wight hotel, they went for it. They opted to build two white woodgrain orangeries, both fitted with French doors and windows made quirky with monkeytail handles. And did we mention that the hotel overlooks the sea? So not only will the Barratt family enjoy a wow-factor living space (two, might we remind you), but wow factor views as well.

Here’s what Mr. and Mrs. Barratt had to say about their new orangeries:

Q: Please can you explain why you decided to have an orangery?

A: For the light and as a space for plants.

Q: What made you contact Anglian in the first place?

A: Anglian’s reputation.

Q: Did you speak to any other companies, and if so, what made you decide to choose Anglian?

A: We spoke to Everest, but chose Anglian because of the price.

Q: Can you tell me if or how the visit from the sales rep helped you in your decision and final choice of style, colour and material?

A: The sales rep was excellent.

A: The service we received from Anglian was excellent.

Q: What’s the best thing about your new installation, and what main differences have you noticed since having your installation?

A: The added light.
